Lacide, a small village Southeast of St Michel de L'Attalaye, has never had a school.  In October 2006  we opened a Christian Elementary School for this village with more than 1500 kids aging from 4 years to 12 years.

Mary Babcock Christian Elementary School is a life changing undertaking.  Our biggest challenge is to find a way to create a school mindset in parents and in children who are not used to school.  Our goal is to provide an excellent Christian education for those children.

The building is divided with partitions to different classrooms.  On weekends it is converted into a church building.
