The clinic opened in July 2003, and our physician started full time in August. We also have a head nurse and two assistant nurses on staff. Due to the severe medical needs in the area, patients often are kept overnight, turning the clinic into a small hospital. Even with just the basic medical equipment and medicines, we are saving lives.
